Apply the Weather Defence spray to fabric or timber before your setting sees its first full season outdoors, then reapply periodically to keep the protective barrier topped up, more often if your furniture copes with harsh sun, coastal air or heavy rain. A regular wipe down between applications helps stop dirt and grime building up on the treated surface.

It covers accidental stains (think food, drinks, bird droppings, sunscreen, pen and more) and accidental damage like rips, tears, cuts, scratches and burns across your fabric, wood and metal furniture for 5 years from application. If something happens that you can't clean yourself, Guardsman arranges a technician to repair it, or replace the affected area, at no cost to you. It doesn't cover pet damage, general wear or fading from everyday use, so it's worth checking the full terms before you rely on it for a specific stain or mark.
