- If possible, avoid direct sunlight direct sunlight will cause the colour to fade. Line drying in the shade is recommended.
- Store your linens in a cool, dry place; avoid plastic bags, cardboard boxes, or in direct contact with cedar chests or wood drawers. Fumes from petroleum-based, polyurethane plastic boxes and wood acids can yellow or weaken the fabrics.
- Use mild, chemical-free detergent, taking care not to use one with bleach or ‘Optical Brightening Agents’ as this may cause discoloration and weakening of the fabric. Do not use a detergent that contains enzymes, fabric softeners, or that is formulated for wool.
